Can I Use My Cell Phone in the Library?   

 

Yes, you may, but we have a few requests:

 

  • We ask that you put your phone on silent or vibrate when entering the library. This helps keep the noise level down for those who are studying. 
  • If you think you'll be having a long (or possibly loud) conversation, please consider moving to the following areas where the call will be less of a distraction to others trying to study:

 

  1. Lower Level - Near the elevator or hallway between classrooms.

  2. Main Level - Front entrance of the library or lobby area by the public telephone.

  3. Upper Level - Near the elevator or public restsrooms.
